Last-minute shoppers are flocking to malls and stores in hopes of scoring some gifts for their loved ones just in time for Christmas.
“Busy! Crazy! It’s people everywhere,” said one shopper.
134 million Americans are expected to hit the malls this weekend. Many major retailers are extending their hours to satisfy customers. Nearly half of all Americans do their holiday shopping online. But a tight deadline means heading to the mall to check off the holiday gift list.
“It’s just too much for me right now,” said one shopper at the Dolphin Mall in Sweetwater. “I want to go home. Too many people out and about.”
Other shoppers chose to stay merry and bright, by taking advantage of discounts on items like coats and holiday pajamas.
“It’s exciting. Very Holiday-ish,” said another shopper.
Before heading out to the malls or your favorite stores, check their websites to see what their holiday hours are.
