A police officer was one of four people injured in a Lauderhill traffic accident Thursday night.
The accident happened around 8:30 p.m. in the intersection of 441 and NW 16th Street.
A police cruiser, two other vehicles, and a pedestrian were involved in the crash, said Lauderhill Fire Rescue Capt. Jerry Gonzalez.
The officer was transported to Broward Health Medical Center with serious injuries. Three others with minor injuries were taken to area hospitals.
According to police, the officer involved in the accident was on-duty at the time of the crash.
