Lauderhill Fire Department Frees Fox Stuck in Fence

Lauderhill Fire Rescue officials rescued a fox that became stuck in a fence this frigid Friday morning.

Animal control officials were called after someone found the fox stuck outside a home near 31st Avenue and Northwest 16th Street at 7 a.m.

With a wind chill advisory hanging over South Florida, the fox was stuck in what "feels like" 30 to 35 degree weather.

Luckily, Lauderhill Fire officials were able to free the fox. He's now waiting safe and snug in a box for animal control to pick him up.

Officials tweeted the photo with the hashtags, #notjustfires and #onehappyfox.
