One of the top names in all of soccer, Lionel Messi, will be playing in South Florida this summer as FC Barcelona will face off against a old foe from Italy at Hard Rock Stadium.
The team will take on SSC Napoli on August 7th inside the Miami Gardens stadium, the first of two matches being played inside the United States with the second being on August 10th in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
“The creation of the La Liga-Serie A Cup is in line with our mission to create more opportunities for U.S. fans to celebrate La Liga and we look forward to this new annual tradition to bring our clubs to America each summer,” said La Liga President Javier Tebas in a statement.
