A Florida 6-year-old who called 911 saying he was lonely and wanted a friend has a new cop buddy.
Tallahassee Police said the upset boy called 911 without his mom knowing and Officer Joe White responded to the call. When Officer White arrived, the boy asked if he would be his friend and the cop agreed after explaining how 911 worked and how it's for emergencies.
Officer White gave the boy a stuffed animal and even let him take a seat behind the wheel of his police cruiser.
