Man Accused of Fatally Stabbing Brother in Fight Over Woman

A South Florida man is accused of stabbing his older brother to death during a fight at their home.

Local news outlets report Davie police say 22-year-old Pedro Hernandez was arrested Saturday. He faces a charge of premeditated murder in the death of Victor Figueroa.

A police report says the brothers got into a fist fight Friday night outside their residence when Hernandez went inside, grabbed a knife and stabbed Figueroa in the abdomen. He died at a hospital.

Davie police Capt. Dale Engle says the men were fighting over a woman one of them had dated.

Detective says they observed signs of a struggle at the crime scene and found a bloody knife and blood on the exterior walls of the home.

It's unclear whether Hernandez has an attorney.
