A Dania Beach man is facing more than 30 child pornography charges after authorities say he had sickening videos and images on his computer.
Yehuda Kofler, 64, was arrested Wednesday following an investigation by the South Florida Internet Crimes Against Children task force, according to an arrest report.
The investigation, which began in May, discovered an IP address used by Kofler had accessed a file sharing network and offered to share child pornography videos and images, the report said. A total of 848 child pornography files were observed between May 16 and June 29, the report said.
When authorities executed a search warrant at Kofler's home, he admitted he had child pornography videos and photos with young girls under the age of 10 on his computer, the report said. A total of 26 videos were found on the computer during a preliminary forensic examination, the report said.
Kofler, who is listed as unemployed and a citizen of Israel, was being held without bond Thursday, Broward County jail records showed. Attorney information wasn't available.
