Man Charged With Stealing Black Bull Behind Bars, Palm Beach Sheriff's Office Says

The 19-year-old man accused of stealing a black bull in Loxahatchee last December is now behind bars, the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office said Friday.

The owner of the bull reported the creature was missing from his herd on Dec. 31, 2016. An investigation ensued, which led to the discovery of the bull’s leg along the owner’s fence line. Further investigation led by a PBSO detective from the department’s agriculture unit determined Dylan Back to be the suspect, according to a statement.

Back is being charged with grand theft of livestock and is currently in the West County Detention Center. His first court appearance is tomorrow.
