Police are looking for a man who was caught on surveillance cameras tearing apart a Hollywood gas station convenience store and punching a clerk.
It happened at around 9:45 p.m. at the Exxon Gas Station at 2730 Sheridan Street, according to Hollywood police.
The men tried to buy alcohol, but the clerk refused to serve them because he believed they were already intoxicated, police said.
One of the men then started to vandalize the store, throwing items off the shelves and causing $1,000 in damage.
Police said after the "lengthy rampage," the clerk left the store to try to get a license plate number. He tries to shut the doors to keep the suspect out, but the suspect forces his way back in and punches him.
The suspect vehicle is a newer model silver Ford F-150 with a paper tag. It has a sticker that says "Sonia's Roofing" on the passenger door with a phone number on it that starts with area code 786.
Anyone with information should call the Hollywood Police Department at 954- 764-4357 (HELP) or 954-967-4411.
