A man is dead after being shot early Tuesday morning in Fort Lauderdale.
Police responded after reports of gunshots at 609 Northeast Fifth Avenue just before 5 a.m.
Once there, police found 24-year-old Shamoy Elijah Eddy suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to Broward Health Medical Center where he later died.
No arrests have been made. An investigation is ongoing.
