Miami Police are investigation an early morning shooting that left one person dead near a Little Havana neighborhood.
Officers were responding to another call in the area near NW 1st Street and 1st Avenue when they heard shots behind fired nearby around 2:30 a.m. After arriving to where the gunfire came from, they found a man lying in the street.
Crews attempted to save the victim, identified as 38-year-old Pedro Blanco, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have not released any information on possible suspects as their investigation continues. Anyone with information is asked to call Miami-Dade CrimeStoppers at 305-471-TIPS, where you may be eligible for a $3,000 reward.
