A Palm Beach County man has been sentenced to 100 years in prison for his role in a shooting that killed three people.
Palm Beach County Judge Marni Bryson sentenced Jarvis Jackson on Monday to four consecutive 25-year prison terms. Jurors convicted him Friday on three counts of second-degree murder and one count of attempted murder. Jackson was also acquitted on three other attempted murder charges connected to the shootings that killed 23-year-old Edson Marcel, 29-year-old Edrice Fleurme and 32-year-old Monfred Pierre-Louis.
The Palm Beach Post reports Bryson ordered the sentences to run consecutively, along with a 15-year federal sentence he's serving on an unrelated charged. Bryson called it "essentially a life in prison term.''
Prosecutors say his accomplices are both serving prison terms.
