A Southwest Miami-Dade man suspected of attempting to break into a car caused an early morning disruption as police attempted to get him down from the roof of a home before he later fell to the ground.

Shortly before 6 a.m., police used a ladder to help 44-year-old Maike Jufre get down before he fell and was taken into custody. Officials have not confirmed if Jufre was arrested or taken in for a mental health evaluation.
Witnesses say the man lives at the home, but his identity has not been released by police at this time.
