Police are looking for a thief who robbed a Miami gas station at gunpoint in a crime that was caught on camera.
The robbery happened the evening of Dec. 2 at the Shell Gas Station at 2745 Northwest 22nd Avenue, Miami Police said.
According to police, the armed robber approached the clerk and demanded money. When she didn't react, the robber said it in Spanish, “Dame el dinero de la caja," police said.
The clerk gave the robber the $400 in the register as he pointed a silver and black handgun at her head. He then pointed the gun at a customer, and demanded, “Dame lo que tienes en los bosillos.”
"No tengo nada," the customer responded.
The robber placed the money in his pocket and fled the store. Police described the suspect as a black Hispanic male, 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-10, 150-160 pounds, with a black beard, freckles and a medium brown complexion.
