A Florida man has been sentenced to life in prison for a fatal restaurant robbery.

News outlets report a 34-year-old Samuel Walker was sentenced Monday after jurors found him guilty of first-degree murder and robbery.

Officials say 46-year-old Rafael Rodriguez was fatally shot in 2013 at an Italian restaurant in Boca Raton. Security video shows masked men force their way into the restaurant. Among items taken was a $20,000 custom Chopard watch that belonged to the restaurant's owner.

The watch and gun used in the shooting were later pawned. Walker appeared on security video at the pawn shop, and experts testified that his DNA was present on the watch and gun.

Two other men, Quinton Sylvestre and Adalberto Montalvo, are charged in the case; No trial dates have been set.
