A man was rushed to the hospital after being shot in the arms, legs and chest after an alleged armed robbery attempt in Miami-Dade early Tuesday morning.
The victim, 62-year-old Dorrel Anderson, was in his car after returning to his home near NE 211th Terrace when two men allegedly tried to steal his wallet. The victim fled in his car while the men opened fire, causing Anderson to crash into a pole.
One of the men reportedly approached the car and shot the man in the chest before fleeing the scene.
Anderson was taken to Aventura Hospital in stable condition. Anyone with information on the two men involved is asked to call Miami-Dade CrimeStoppers.
