A thief was caught on surveillance stealing construction tools early Tuesday from the porch of a Miami home.
The male subject appears to look through car windows before snatching $500 worth of tools. He even uses a piece of cardboard to shield himself from the pouring rain.
Tiffany Valderrama told NBC 6 that her husband now needs to buy new tools because he uses them every day for work.
"It affects us a lot," she said in Spanish. "He's at work right now and doesn't have the proper equipment to do his job because he doesn't have the money right now to buy the tools from one day to another."
Neighbors apparently spotted the man leaving on a bike.
