Man Wanted for Beating Woman, Forcing Her to Watch Him Perform Sexual Act on Himself: BSO

Deputies are searching for a man who they say violently beat a woman and forced her to watch him perform a sexual act on himself last week, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.

The man is believed to be in his early 40s with tattoos of a triangle and possible Roman numerals on the left side of his neck, the BSO said.

Deputies believe the incident occurred on Feb. 12 at about 9:30 a.m. at Southwest 43rd Terrace and Southwest 50 Street in Dania Beach.

Detectives went door to door at Dania Beach businesses Tuesday, passing out flyers and asking the businesses to post them in their storefront windows. The flyers show a detailed sketch of the suspect and a picture of a white Ford F-150 pickup truck. Deputies say the license plate begins with the letter “D.”

Detectives from the sex crimes unit showed a sense of urgency during their canvass of the neighborhood, which included speaking with drivers. Detective Anne Sutter believes it’s a matter of time before this man strikes again, saying, “He grabbed a female. He pulled her in, he made her look at him while he performed a sexual act. Plus he used violence which classifies him as a sexual deviant, which means he will do this again. The next time it’s going to be worse.”

Anyone with information on the case is urged to call 954-493-TIPS. Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information leading to an arrest of the suspect.
