A man wanted on dozens of charges of possession of child pornography is believed to be in South Florida, officials said Tuesday.
Monte Allen Webb, 58, is alleged to have possessed at least 40 images and or videos of child pornography and is wanted by the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office, U.S. Marshals Service officials said.
Webb fled the Sarasota area in January and authorities received a tip he may be hiding out in Miami-Dade or Broward, officials said.
Authorities said Webb is about 5-foot-7 and 190 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair.
