A suspect who carjacked a family returning from Walt Disney World over the weekend was taken into custody in North Miami.
Jaquay Marlon Jean, 21, was arrested Monday, a day after the incident at a Mobil gas station in Palm City, according to the Martin County Sheriff's Office.
Surveillance video shows the struggle between the suspect and the driver. The driver desperately tries to fight off the suspect before he drove off with the driver's baby and grandmother inside the car, sheriff's officials said.
About a mile away, the suspect forced the woman and the baby out of the car before he continued to drive away, West Palm Beach affiliate WPTV reported.
Along with the U.S. Marshals, Martin County Sheriff's Warrants Unit took Jean into custody Monday afternoon in North Miami.
Jean was being held on $40,000 bond, WPTV reported.
