Men Charged in Armed Dania Beach Robbery

Two men are being held without bond after deputies said they robbed four people at gunpoint in Dania Beach.

Jonathan Warrenfeltz, 24, and Joshua Zeaya, 23, are being held on several charges, according to online jail records.

Broward Sheriff's deputies say Warrenfeltz and Zeaya approached four victims, between the ages of 23 and 27, on Wednesday at 6:05 a.m. The victims were sitting on a bench at 300 North Beach Road when the two suspects allegedly arrived in a 2002 Toyota Camry driven by a woman.

Deputies said Zeaya pointed a gun that he tried to conceal under his white tank top at the victims as Warrenfeltz stole their property. Zeaya also allegedly hit one of the victims in the back of the head with his gun and kicked another victim in the chest.

Zeaya initially fled the scene, but deputies apprehended him at 825 East Dania Beach Boulevard where he was trying to rent a room at a Motel 6.

It is unclear if Warrenfeltz or Zeaya have attorneys.
