Men Robbed Little Haiti Grocery Store Clerk, Infant at Gunpoint: Miami Police

Miami Police are looking for a pair of thieves who robbed a Little Haiti grocery store clerk and threatened her infant son at gunpoint.

The robbery happened shortly before 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Christiana Grocery store at 4322 Northwest 2nd Avenue.

Police said the two men entered and pretended to be customers and went to the register to pay for a bag of chips. As the clerk was ringing them up one man pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the clerk and her infant son.

The suspect yelled at the clerk "Give me everything you got or I'll shoot him!" while pointing the gun at the infant, police said. The woman complied and gave the suspects money from the register.

Both suspects fled the store after ordering the victim to the ground. The entire incident was captured on the store's surveillance system.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
