Men Wanted for 30 Smash-and-Grab Burglaries: BSO

The Broward Sheriff's Office is looking to identify two men who they've classified as smash-and-grab burglars.

BSO said the rock-throwing criminals have been wreaking havoc at businesses throughout the county, smashing glass doors after hours, sneaking in and stealing cash registers.

Detectives believe the duo is responsible for at least 30 burglaries at restaurants, dollar stores, bakeries and other businesses.

Surveillance cameras captured clear images of the men, who have been seen in different cars including a white Chrysler Pacifica and a silver Chevrolet Malibu. Detectives said they typically use a large rock to smash the glass front door of a business and walk over the shattered glass to take the cash register.

The men allegedly routinely strike between midnight and 10 a.m.

One suspect appears to be thin with medium-length dreadlocks and some facial hair. He has extensive tattoos on his left arm, hand, upper torso and back and a smaller tattoo inside his right arm. The second has an athletic build with tattoos on both arms and a full beard.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers of Broward County at (954) 493-TIPS.
