Men Wanted for Questioning in Miami Beach Sex Battery

Miami Beach Police released sketches Friday of two men wanted for questioning in the sexual battery of two women.

The sexual battery happened back on March 9 in South Beach after a woman said she and her friend were drugged and raped by two men they met at Nikki Beach, according to a Miami Beach Police report.

According to the report, one of the victims said she had a drink and couldn't remember anything until she woke up in a hotel room a few hours later.

"How did we get here? How did we wind up here? Like, we didn't ask to be, what is going on?" the victim, who did not want to be identified, recalled about the night of the attack.

"We wound up going to the bar, getting a drink, walking around a bit and we met these two men briefly, literally, for not even a minute. and the next thing you know we were passed out, we blacked out, and we woke up in a random hotel."

Miami Beach Police say they now want to find the men and bring them in for questioning.

"It was the worst thing ever, it was awful," the victim said.

The woman said the men didn't buy her and a friend a drink. But they are the last faces she remembers seeing before blacking out and the first faces she saw in the hotel room.

The victim said her friend was on the floor next to her in the fetal position wearing only her underwear. She said one of the men may have been taking photos because she was seeing flashes, the report said.

She woke up her friend and they gathered their belongings and left. She said she saw her ripped underwear on the floor but didn't pick it up, the report said.

The victim assumed she was either at Beach Paradise Hotel or the Fritz because that's where the GPS on her phone had her at the time.

More than a month later, she said she is still dealing with what happened and it isn't getting any easier.

"It's been a nightmare. I'm very traumatized. My friend and I are both in counseling. Our marriages have been affected, you know, you just look at life through a different lens."

She's now sharing her story in hopes that someone will recognize the men and call police.

"It's scary, those guys are still out on the street. Who knows how many people they've done this to or how many people they plan on doing this to."

The suspects are described as white males, both with brown hair and brown eyes. One was 5-foot-9 and the other 5-foot-10.

Anyone with information is asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
