Couple Accused of Selling Fake Botox at Miami Clinic

The Food and Drug Administration started an investigation into Jorge Nogueira and Jessyka Molina and their company Therapmedic in March of 2018

A couple is being accused of selling fake Botox and other counterfeit cosmetic pharmaceuticals at their Miami medical clinic, prosecutors said.

The Food and Drug Administration started an investigation into Jorge Nogueira and Jessyka Molina and their company Therapmedic in March of 2018.

Detectives said the couple sold a confidential informant multiple boxes of counterfeit injectables throughout the investigation.

Molina and Nogueira were arrested on Oct. 15 and appeared in bond court Tuesday. They both face multiple charges, including trafficking contraband prescription drugs, fraud, practicing a health care profession without a license.

Their bonds were set at $42,500 each and both have immigration holds in jail.
