As news broke of Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross hosting a nearly $250,000 per person fundraiser for the re-election campaign of President Donald Trump, his star wide receiver wasted no time letting his opinion be known.

News reports out of New York City say that Ross is planning on hosting the event in the Hamptons on Friday – where those attending will get a chance to have lunch and snap a picture with Trump.

Wednesday, Kenny Stills took to social media and took a shot at the involvement of Ross in the event while at the same time organizing the Ross Initiative in Sports for Equality.

The group’s mission statement calls itself a national nonprofit that “educates and empowers the sports community to eliminate racial discrimination, champion social justice and improve race relations."

Stills has been one of the most outspoken players in the National Football League when it comes to social issues, continuing to kneel during the national anthem during games while working with programs involving juveniles and other groups off the field.
