Miami Gardens Police Hand Out Flyers in Deadly Shooting

Police in Miami Gardens released a flyer Wednesday night with a photo of the vehicle they're looking for in connection to a deadly shooting outside a Checkers Restaurant.

It is a black pickup truck and investigators say the gunman wasn't alone. There were two other men in the truck.

Family and friends of the victim, Mark Constantine, gathered in a vigil still coming to terms with the death of the father of three.

Miami Gardens Police said Constantine was visiting a friend at the Checkers window near 181st Street and Northwest Second Avenue around 2 a.m.

That's where police say a fight broke out between Constantine and his killer.

"He doesn't have no beef, no enemies, no nothing right now, so for it to have happened, I don't know what went down," friend Lady Cash told NBC 6 South Florida.

Detectives said Constantine got in his car to leave, and moments after pulling out of the parking lot he was gunned down.

Employees at Checkers hit the panic button. Constantine died in the street right next to his car.

"He was a good guy. Respectable and everything. Humble, do a lot for everybody," said friend Mike Miller. "It's sad it had to happened to him. I just pray they get whoever did it. If anybody know anything call Crime Stoppers."

Now police are hunting for a black pickup truck that left the crime scene. They believe it may have been driven by the suspect.

If you have any information that could help investigators, call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.

There is a $3,000 reward for info that leads to an arrest.
