The Miami Hurricanes football team kept their record unbeaten Saturday with a blowout win over Appalachian State – but it’s their alleged actions before kickoff that are under review.

In a Facebook post published hours after the ‘Canes 45-10 victory, a member of the color guard for the Mountaineers’ marching band claimed that members of Miami’s football team physically and verbally assaulted some of her fellow students:

The ASU Police say that no charges have been filed, but an investigation is ongoing. Blake James, athletics director for the University of Miami, gave a statement to the Palm Beach Post saying the issue would be addressed.

“The University of Miami does not tolerate any kind of suggestive behavior, harassment or inappropriate conduct and we will take action if our students did engage in this type of behavior,” James said.

The two schools will not play again in the regular season until 2021, when Miami will host the game. The Hurricanes are off this week, returning to action on October 1st against Georgia Tech and return home on October 8th against rival Florida State.
