Miami Hurricanes, USF Bulls Agree to 3 Game Series Starting in 2025 Season

  • The Hurricanes, under first year head coach Manny Diaz, will open their 2019 season on August 24th when they face the rival Florida Gators.

The Miami Hurricanes will get to play at least one more football game in the state of Florida after agreeing to a three game series with in-state foes USF.

The agreement, announced Tuesday, will see the ‘Canes host the Bulls inside Hard Rock Stadium on September 13, 2025 and September 9, 2028 while traveling to Tampa on September 4, 2027 as part of the deal.

Miami and USF have played six times before with the Hurricanes holding a 5-1 advantage and having won their last meeting during the 2013 season. The only win for the Bulls came in the final game of the 2010 season – with former Miami head coach Randy Shannon being fired after the game.
