A man accused of stabbing a woman to death with a kitchen knife at a home in northeast Miami-Dade on New Year's Day has been arrested, police said.
Jimmy Came, 22, is facing a second-degree murder charge the Tuesday morning stabbing at a home in the 700 block of Northeast 83rd Terrace, according to an arrest report.
According to the report, a witness said Came and the woman got into a verbal argument, and Came went into the kitchen, grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed the woman repeatedly before fleeing on foot.
The woman later died from her injuries. Her name hasn't been released.
The witness identified Came as the suspect and he was taken into custody. Came was ordered held without bond during a court appearance Wednesday, and attorney information wasn't available.
