Miami Marlins' Giancarlo Stanton Buys Three-Story Penthouse Downtown

Miami Marlins star outfielder Giancarlo Stanton has new digs in downtown Miami.

The professional baseball player has purchased a three-story penthouse in downtown Miami that’s currently under construction. A price for the home was not disclosed, although other properties in the area have sold for $1.8 to 6 million.

Stanton’s future pad, which is being built at the Aria on the Bay luxury condo tower in Miami, includes a rooftop terrace, private pool and summer kitchen. It’s set to be complete early next year.

Stanton’s purchase comes two years after the baseball star signed a 13-year, $325 million contract with the Marlins - the largest in sports history, according to a press release.

The penthouse is located in the heart of Miami arts and entertainment district along Biscayne Bay. As the Miami Herald noted, it’s not too far of a drive from Marlins Park.
