Miami Men Charged for Stuffing Toiletries in Underpants at Family Dollar Store: Cops

Officials said two men stole personal hygiene products by stuffing them in their underpants.

Two Miami men were arrested after they were caught stuffing toiletries in their underwear at a Family Dollar Store in Lake Worth, officials said.

A store employee called deputies after she saw 24-year-old Nicholas Williams and 34-year-old Vincent Wilder taking personal hygiene products off shelves at the store on 1908 Lake Worth Road, according to a Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office arrest report.

She told detectives they would stuff the items in their pants and walk out of the store without paying, the report said.

When deputies arrived at the scene, they found Williams and Wilder, along with a woman named Diamond Ross and three children, in a white Dodge Ram pickup truck outside the store, according to the report. They found several bottles and containers on the ground outside the truck and stacked within the truck, officials said.

Authorities also found multiple bottles and containers of personal hygiene products shoved inside of Williams' underwear, which he had fastened to his legs using electrical tape, the report said.

Wilder also had several bottles stuffed inside his underwear, according to the report.

Ross admitted to deputies that the three had driven from Miami to Lake Worth to steal the products to later sell them, the report said. Williams also admitted that his goal was to sell the items he had stolen, deputies said. He told authorities he frequently sells personal hygiene products because they are what everyone needs, the report said.

He also told authorities he does not usually tape the leg holes of his underwear to his legs, but he did this time to be able to conceal a greater amount of merchandise, the report said.

The men were charged with larceny for stealing more than $300 in merchandise, officials said.

Jail records show Wilder was released Tuesday on $10,000 bond. Williams is still being held at the Palm Beach County Jail on $7,500 bond. Ross was not arrested.
