City of Miami police say they have detained two people in connection with a shooting in a Northwest Miami neighborhood Sunday morning.
According to officers, one person was hurt and sent to Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Witnesses say the two detained suspects were robbers who stole jewelry and cell phones from the victim. They say the shooting took place as the victim ran after the men.
Police have not released information on a motive.
