Miami Police are looking for three suspects who were involved in an armed carjacking early Friday morning.

Officers arrived at the scene near Southwest 33rd Court and 27th Street shortly after 4 a.m., where one of the victims told NBC 6 they had just arrived home in a rental car.

Nassem Zarafshan said three people pulled up behind their car, allegedly forcing her boyfriend to the ground before demanding their car and other items at gunpoint, fleeing the scene shortly after.

"I was like, oh my God, are we going to die,” Zarafshan said. “I felt like my life was on the line.”

Police later found the Nissan Altima crashed near Northwest 19th Avenue and 18th Street a short time later.

Two possible suspects were being questioned after a short pursuit, officials said. Police later said that no suspects were in custody.

SWAT officers and police helicopters were in the area searching for the possible suspects. The suspects were described as black males between 16 and 20.

Officials have not released information on who they were questioning.
