A 10-year-old Miami girl whose disappearance set off a Florida Amber Alert was found safe Wednesday, police said.
Miami Police officials said Randi Canion was recovered Wednesday.
NBC 6 got a tip that Canion had been spotted inside a Valero gas station on 13th Avenue and 79th Street buying something to drink. The gas station is just a few minutes away from her adoptive mother’s home on North Bayshore Drive.
People inside the store recognized her and called police.
Canion’s biological mother told NBC 6 over the phone that she’s relieved her daughter was found safe.
Police say she had run away several times before but had never been gone for this long.
Canion had been last seen Saturday night, and an Amber Alert was issued for her on Tuesday.
