A Missing Child Alert issued for a Broward County boy has been canceled by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
"The child has been found safe," FDLE wrote in a statement.
The Coconut Creek Police Department and the FDLE issued the alert for 4-year-old Tanner Swears on Saturday after he went missing with his father, 55-year-old Stephen Swears.
At this time CCCPD says the father dropped Tanner off with a family friend, but officials have not said if he has been found at this time.
