Models Sue South Florida Strip Clubs for Using Their Images

Nine models are suing a company that owns strip clubs in South Florida, saying they didn't authorize their images for use in club advertisements.

In a lawsuit filed last week in West Palm Beach, the women say they never worked for the Cheetah Gentlemen's Clubs and their photos were misappropriated.

They are seeking an injunction to stop the clubs from using their photos, along with unspecified damages.

The lawsuit says the women live in Los Angeles and have successful modeling or acting careers.

Miami attorney Sarah Melissa Cabarcas says in the lawsuit the women's images were manipulated to give the impression that they either work for the strip club or endorse it.

Messages left for Faneuil Entertainment, which owns three Cheetah's clubs, were not immediately returned.
