Mom Busted for Not Letting Kids Use the Potty

Woman may have planned to use her children's urine to beat drug tests, police said

A South Florida mom is not getting a break from police after she allegedly refused to let her children take potty breaks.

Angela Henderson, 35, was arrested on child abuse charges Tuesday after she allegedly told her three children they weren't allowed to use the toilet in the house, the Palm Beach Post reported.

Henderson cut the water valves off to the toilets in the house and forced the kids to urinate in bowls, Jupiter police said.

The children's father called police after his children sent him repeated text messages about their mother's potty policy.

Police also found marijuana in the home and detectives believe the woman planned on using the children's urine to pass drug tests, the police report stated.

The children told police Henderson made them continually drink Gatorade to make them go to the bathroom more.

It was unclear if Henderson, who also faces drug charges, had an attorney Wednesday.
