More Charges for Alleged Broward Flasher

A Hallandale Beach man accused of flashing and masturbating in front of a 12-year-old girl and another young girl in Coral Springs is facing more charges.

Jorge Manuel Garcia, 30, was back before a judge Tuesday where he was ordered held without bond on charges of lewd and lascivious conduct and exhibition in the presence of a person under 16 years of age. It was unknown if he has an attorney.

Plantation Police said Garcia exposed himself to an 8-year-old girl in the parking lot of a Toys R Us on West Broward Boulevard back in April. Then detectives said he grabbed her and forced her to touch him.

Days earlier, police say Garcia exposed and touched himself while looking at a 12-year-old in the Walgreens parking lot on West Sample Road in Coral Springs. Investigators said surveillance footage showed Garcia looking at the child who was sitting in a parked car.

On April 30, authorities said Garcia was exposing and touching himself at a park near the Coral Springs Police Department while close to a female child. Garcia took off in his truck when a witness yelled out to the girl, police said. Witnesses also saw him approach two other girls.

During his bond court appearance last month, Broward Judge John Hurley had harsh words for Garcia.

"You represent an extreme danger to the community. It does appear you are preying on young girls," Judge Hurley said.
