A motorcycle crash in Miami left one person dead and the other in critical condition, police said Sunday afternoon.
According to officials, the incident happened on the exit ramp leaving the Rickenbacker Causeway in Key Biscayne. As a result of the crash, police have shut down the ramp leaving the Rickenbacker onto the southbound lanes of U.S. 1. Two additional lanes have been shut down at Southwest 26th Road and South Miami Avenue.

Miami Police said the motorcycle skid off the ramp. The driver and passenger were taken to the hospital. One of the passengers died, while the other remains in critical condition.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
It’s unclear what caused the motorcycle to slide off the causeway.
