A pedestrian was hit by a Miami-Dade Transit bus in Miami Monday morning.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Southwest First Avenue and First Street in Miami. Miami-Dade police say the bus was southbound on Southwest First Avenue and was attempting to make a left turn onto Southwest First Street when it struck the pedestrian.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue teams were on the scene performing CPR on the victim. The victim was transported to the Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital where they were in critical condition, officials said.
No other details were immediately known.
