The City of Pinecrest is about to get a little bit safer, with the addition of a new K-9 officer!
Officer Maze is a three-year-old Belgian Malinois. Officer Maze and his handler Officer Acosta are currently attending 480 hours of basic apprehension and obedience certification training. Once they finish that training, they will go in for eight weeks of drug and narcotics detection training.
Officer Maze and Officer Acosta should be ready to hit the streets by June 2016.
