New surveillance video of a man who was fatally struck by a vehicle in Fort Lauderdale Saturday morning has been released.
The video shows the victim, John Frederick III, being hit while crossing the street as the car continues to speed away.
The incident occurred around 3 a.m. in the area of West Broward Boulevard and Northwest 7th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale Police said.
According to investigators, the vehicle they are searching for is a 2011 to 2019 silver Hyundai Sonata that would have front end damage.
