New Video Shows Armed Men Who Stole BrandsMart Truck: MDPD

Police are hoping new video will help catch a pair of masked gunmen who ambushed and robbed two BrandsMart truck drivers as they made a delivery in broad daylight in northwest Miami-Dade earlier this month.

Miami-Dade Police released new video showing the suspects behind the Feb. 11 robbery at a home in the 2100 block of Northwest 42nd Street.

The thieves forced their way into the home and ordered the delivery men and the four residents of the home to the ground and demanded their property. The suspects then took all of the victims' cellphones and money, police said.

One of the gunmen fired a shot in the direction of one of the victims but no one was hit, police said. The thieves fled in the delivery truck, which contained more merchandise.

Police said one of the suspects was dressed in light blue jeans, grey hoodie and had a red bandanna covering his face. The other was wearing a multi-colored jacket. Both were described as black males, between 20 and 30 years of age and about 5-feet 8-inches tall.

Police are searching for the suspects and the BrandsMart truck, which is a 1997 Isuzu FTR large truck with tag EABL97. It's white, has the BrandsMart logo and right quarter panel damage.

Anyone with information is asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
