New Video Shows Hectic Scene of Cruise Ship Incident

New video has been released, capturing the frantic moments after a man went overboard from a cruise ship.

A cellphone captures security on board the ship, rushing in to try and help save the man, as his husband pleads for help. It also captures what happened the moment he fell into the water.

Moments before Bernardo Elbaz went overboard, the Royal Caribbean crew tried to remove him from his room.

New video released Wednesday has a few seconds of black before the real panic sets in.

"What's blacked out is Bernardo looking into the camera and making a statement, and the family was concerned because they didn't want his literally last minutes the one thing that everybody picks up on," said Michael Winkleman, the family's attorney.

According to Winkleman, Bernardo's statement was really a threat to jump off the ship because of anti-gay bullying by the crew.

After the six-second gap, you can hear screaming in the video and Bernardo's husband yelling, "No! No!"

Winkleman said Bernardo approached the balcony, his husband Erik opened the door and ran after him, allegedly followed by security.

It's alleged the ship security tackled Erik at the balcony and pushed into Bernardo, sending him over the cabin balcony onto the lifeboat platform below, where he landed with his entire body on the platform.

Moments later, you can hear the crew react when Bernardo went overboard.

"No! No! You killed him!" Erik screamed in the video, a distraught husband who believes the crew sent Bernardo to his death. "He didn't fall, you pushed him. You killed him. He didn't jump, he didn't jump."

Broward Sheriff's Office and Royal Caribbean are maintaining their previous statements that Bernardo's jump was intentional.
