Nighttime Closures on I-75 at Miramar Parkway to Start

As construction on the new Miramar Parkway interchange bridge is set to begin Monday night, the Florida Department of Transportation is planning a series of full nighttime closures on all lanes along I-75 to allow for initial construction to begin.

Motorists are advised that all lanes of I-75 southbound north of Miramar Parkway will be closed from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Monday and Tuesday. Motorists will be detoured to take the exit 7B ramp at Miramar Parkway West, then cross over Miramar Parkway at the top of the ramp, then re-enter I-75 southbound using the Miramar Parkway on-ramp.

On Wednesday and Thursday, all lanes of I-75 northbound south of Miramar Parkway will also be closed from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Drivers will be detoured to exit 7A, Miramar Parkway East, where they will cross over Miramar Parkway then re-enter I-75 northbound using the on-ramp.

FDOT asks that drivers please obey the posted detour.
