North Miami Police Looking for Repeat Robber

North Miami Police are looking for a repeat robber who has hit a 7-11 convenience store, Subway restaurant, and possibly more in the past few weeks.

The latest robbery was at a Subway on the 900 block of NE 125th Street. On October 19th, police said the man held up the restaurant and made off with 300 dollars in cash from the register.

“He’s very dangerous in that he seems very relaxed when he commits these robberies,” said North Miami Police Major Neal Cuevas. “He gives the appearance that he’s done these many times before.”

The robber may have hit a Family Dollar a few blocks from the convenience store, police said. The 7-11 robbery was similar to the Subway heist. The robber goes straight to the register and keeps a gun in view of the clerk as he’s handed the cash.

North Miami Police said they are onto the man’s robbery style and also his personal style.

“He wears, basically, the same hat in some of these robberies,” Cuevas said. “He does change his clothing, but he’s still distinguishable.”

If you have any information about the crime, call North Miami Police or Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS (8477).
