Northern Florida Man Sexually Assaulted Teenagers on Camping Trip, Gave 2 Tattoos: Authorities

A 38-year-old northern Florida man was arrested after he sexually assaulted teenagers and gave two of them tattoos during a camping trip, authorities said.

Ramon Renfro of Pace assaulted the teens between Feb. 8-10, when he went camping with them to Keyser Landing and Webb Landing in Chumuckla, a Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office arrest report said.

Renfro gave the teens whiskey and vodka that Friday before he laid down next to an intoxicated victim in a tent and molested her after she resisted his attempts to do so several times, the arrest report said.

Renfro provided alcohol again on Saturday before he sexually assaulted two intoxicated victims, both of whom resisted him, according to the report.

During the trip Renfro also gave tattoos to two intoxicated victims, sexually assaulting one of them as he did so, the report said.

Renfro was arrested at his home last Friday, the sheriff’s office said.

He faces two counts of battery and one count each of unlawful sexual activity with certain minors, lewd or lascivious battery, lewd or lascivious molestation of a victim between 12 and 15 years old and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, the arrest report said.

Renfro also faces a probation violation and is being held on no bond, according to the sheriff’s office. It wasn’t immediately known whether he has an attorney.
