A student at Nova High School in Davie is facing charges after he allegedly sexually battered a girl on the school's campus.
The 10th grader, who is a minor, was arrested Thursday for the alleged incident at the school at 3600 College Avenue back on Feb. 22, according to Davie Police and an arrest report.
The report said the suspect grabbed the victim and asked her to have sex. When she refused, he put her in a choke-hold and forced her to walk to an abandoned portable classroom on the campus, the report said.
Once inside, the suspect sexually battered her, the report said.
The principal asked the student to write a statement and he admitted to the battery, according to the report.
