Davie Police Locate Home Where School Threat Call Was Made

According to police, Comcast provided the address.

Davie Police say they have identified the home where an anonymous school threat came from on Friday.

The threat was made to Nova High school around dismissal time, and resulted in four other surrounding schools being placed on lockdown.

According to police, the phone number belonged to Comcast as a land line.

The company provided Davie Police with a home address, which was located in Fort Lauderdale.

When units arrived, they say the homeowner and five teenage children were home at the time of the call.

One of the teenagers is a registered student at Nova High school, but all five denied making the call.

At this time, police say they cannot determine who made the school threat from the home.

School administration has been notified and will decide how to proceed.
